We are going to move from doing outlines to new types of note taking. The vocabulary and questions will be done the same day as note taking.
History Fair- Drafts are due-1,2,4A February 28 and the final paper March 8
5,6B Draft due March 1 and final due March 7
All papers are graded and grade portal updated.
$th period will have a test this week on Egypt.

The student will be give specific instructions on History Fair on 1/14-1/25 ( Thursday and Friday).
Julia Landon has a beginner History Fair project. The students will be doing a 500 word paper with two primary sources. The paper will be due the last week in February. The project will be on Black History and how this event, person,or idea was a turning point in history
1/22-1/23- re-organization. Students have not had their notebooks or folders in correct order. We are going to start out with new composition books and folders. All students need to bring in a new composition book.

Changes due to testing
The Test dates for 1,2,5,6 have been moved. The test will be 12/7 for 1 and 2
The test will be 12/10 for 5 and 6.
The test will be matching, multiple choice, two essays and skills for life : Main Idea.
The students have created their own study guides. The students also have quizzes to use as study guides.
All classes have been up dated for grades. All papers received by 11/30 were recorded and published to the web. Students in periods 1,2,5 and part of 6 received print out today. The rest will receive print outs tomorrow.
